Dear Alaska Weddings,

Mwan and I are forever thankful for everything you did to help us pull off our dream wedding. As soon as we contacted you for our helicopter glacier wedding, we knew you were the right choice. You coordinated every detail of our day, and every step of the way you kept our personal preferences at the forefront. Although we scheduled the helicopter glacier wedding, the dense fog and heavy rain had other (even better) plans for our wedding day. You completely wowed us with our backup plan, Skater’s Cabin. The limo ride there was scenic and romantic. We still talk about how professional and engaging the driver (I wish we remembered his name) was the entire day. He was so cool. We LOVED EVERYTHING about our wedding location…the historic Skater’s Cabin!, Mendenhall Lake!, Mendenhall Glacier!, the sand beach!, the Rainforest!, the fog!, and the cold Juneau rain! You arranged an elegant reception table for us inside the cabin, and our toast was a lovely, romantic moment. Thank you as well for our moving, religious ceremony.

For wedding photography, it was because of you that we found Kaley McGoey of Fera Photography! She is phenomenal! As a person and a photographer, she was the perfect choice for our wedding, and it was cool seeing the positive working relationship Alaska Weddings has with Fera Photography.

Mwan and I are still having dreams about our perfect wedding in Juneau. And it’s unbelievable knowing it really happened the way we dreamed it.

We had the most beautiful, picture perfect wedding day and we have Tom and his crew at Alaska Weddings to thank for that! We were a bit hesitant to plan a long distant wedding ceremony all the way in Alaska when we were located in sunny Florida but our fears disappeared when we contacted Tom. He obliged to every request we could dream up and he accommodated every change we made even just weeks before the ceremony. The view from Skaters Cabin took our breath away! Tom and his team turned a small recreation area into our dream wedding day filled with donuts, bubbles, and the most beautiful sunny Alaska day! The whole ceremony and small reception were both perfect. We couldn’t have dreamed up a better location, or wedding team to have on our side.

We cannot thank Alaska Weddings and Tom enough for making our Glacial Wedding on Mendenhall Glacier as easy as possible and still something to be remembered for a lifetime.  He was even able to get us an extra helicopter because we had more guests than originally anticipated!  We were afraid of the helicopter ride being cancelled because the weather had been overcast and raining for the past week but the pilots were determined to get us on a glacier, even if it wasn’t the originally planned one.  They did an amazing job flying with a low ceiling and they were also willing to serve as our photographers, getting some great shots of the entire group.  Our limo driver also treated us to a “locals only” vantage point of Mendenhall Glacier that was unoccupied so we could take some more pictures from a different perspective.  You can tell everyone involved loves their job and is willing to go the extra mile to make the experience unforgettable.  We are so glad we chose Alaska Weddings!”

Everything about my wedding day was perfect. With Tom’s help, my fiancé and I planned our destination wedding in Juneau all the way from Tennessee. He and his wife are detail oriented people that will ensure all special requests are fulfilled and that everything is picture perfect and stress-free. From the time we arrived on the cruise ship, Tom was readily available by phone and met us as soon as we disembarked from the ship. His wife and colleague met us at the ceremony site. (We opted to rent our own car, but Tom has transportation available.) Everything at the ceremony site was beautiful, from the champagne flutes to the cake plates to my Alaskan wildflower bouquet. The cake was amazing and my husband refused to part with it, toting it around the rest of the day for pictures and eventually back to the cruise ship. At one point, it started raining lightly and before I knew it, the entire set up had been moved under a cover. There was absolutely nothing I could have worried or stressed about that day. If you are planning a wedding in southeast Alaska, hire Tom. You will not be disappointed.

A fairytale wedding is not just a dream but a beautiful reality when the Weddings on Ice team is at the helm! Our officiant Tom deftly coordinated every aspect of our wedding and answered all of our questions quickly – he pays fastidious attention to details so your Big Day is absolutely perfect! Our home in Florida is a long way from Alaska but with Tom’s expert planning we had no worries at all, every aspect of our wedding was covered to a “T”!

 Upon our arrival in Juneau, our cheerful and nattily-dressed professional Driver, Julie, heartily greeted us and ushered us into the impeccable limousine decorated for the occasion. Despite some bad weather that almost cancelled our flight, our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Getting married on the Herbert Glacier was truly a one-of-a kind experience. Alaska Weddings

My now husband and I are crew members on the cruise ship Eurodam and we decided to tie the knot in Juneau Alaska, since is such a special place for us. We came to know about Alaska Weddings through the internet and we contacted Tom, from whom we had prompt and attentive response since day one.

Tom had helped us to plan and organize everything, since the location to the preparation of documents, suit and dress rental, hairdresser salon and he was with us in every step of the way. The expected day came on August the 7th 2017 an it was a gorgeous day in Juneau, it seemed like it was a wedding gift from the weather Gods to us. The ceremony happened on top of Mount Roberts in Juneau at a viewing platform with a breathtaking sight as background. We became husband and wife in the presence of our friends (our ship’s family hence our relatives weren’t able to be physically present, although they were present in heart) and the officiant was Linda, who officiated the ceremony in a beautiful way with kind and inspiring words. Nothing could be more perfect and this will be definitely one of the most memorable days of our life.
That wouldn’t have happened without the professionalism and kindness of Tom that took care of us like someone of our own family.
We are immensely happy and grateful.

Curt and I just want to thank you so much for helping us with our wedding. It was a long journey for us to get to that day; the wait was well worth it. You made our special day so easy and the weather was awesome, the location on Mont Roberts you picked could of not been any better. The view cannot be described with enough good words.

From the first time we talked on the phone I felt very comfortable with you and just told you we wanted something simple and easy and let it up to you. I cannot believe how easy you made our day, but it is a day that we will never forget as it was so wonderful and peaceful. The ceremony you wrote was perfect, if we tried to write a better one to fit us we could not even of come close to the words you used and the way you performed the service for us. We were impressed with the way you worked with our photographer and the advice you gave him and us to make the pictures perfect. We cannot thank enough from the time we met at the tram station, to the ride up the mountain, the walk to our place on the mountain, to the service, signing the legal papers and the ride down the mountain, you were so helpful and made us feel like we had known you a long time. Thank you for being a part of our most important day of our life.

Can’t say enough about OUR day! It was nothing less than spectacular! From all your assistance, loved that you officiated, Kaley (our photographer) had an incredible energy about her and we thoroughly enjoyed working with her, and the limo drive Mike … what a fount of information on Juneau. Even the helicopter pilot joined in on the fun and took pics for us with our phone. Couldn’t have asked to spend our time with a better group of people.
Arrangements were so easy and you were so patient with the questions etc. (working with my East Coast angst). The extra time we booked with the photographer and limo made the day that much more amazing. Hi Tom!

We just want to thank you for a wonderful experience. I can remember anxiously waiting on the ship as we watched the rain rolling in – absolutely, positively SURE that something was going to go wrong. But you met us at the dock and put all of my fears to rest. We had a great time touring the city and goofing around with the crew (where’s my port-a-potty portrait!? lol) You, and the rest of the Alaska Weddings team, created a truly amazing experience that we will never forget. We STILL tell people that our witnesses were the mountain goats – and they don’t believe us til we break out the picture!
